Saddlebag of Birdsong

Saddlebag of Birdsong

This is an album of my latest Country songs, written and recorded just for the love of it.

Country music is a lot of different things to a lot of different people, but to me it’s a vehicle to drive home a feeling in a song and that’s good enough.

Keith’s Country Satellite Review on Country Music People

Keith’s Country Satellite Review on Country Music People

“After going through about twenty CDs these six tracks were arguably the most country and this one was one the CDs I enjoyed most.

“It turned out Keith Mouland can write a pretty decent countrty song and his vocals have a nice, lived-in yet tuneful quality.”

Thank you CMP.

Keith’s Country Satellite is all about my connection to Country music and in particular my Country songs.

The first release I have under this name is a five song EP called “ORIGINALS”. Three of these songs are already out there but have been remixed. Check it out here.

Joining me are Colette Cassin with backing vocals. Micky Wareham pedal steel and steel from Spain. Pete Lamb bass and production.

Drinking my way over you (new release)

Drinking my way over you (new release)

I wrote this song after an all day gig at a beer festival with my old band.

While cashing in my own beer tokens I noticed as the day went on how the conversations in the bar turned to the subject of lost loves and how drinking seems to help you through it.

This was a popular song in the Country clubs as well.

This is the first of my Country singles that I hope to release soon.

Thanks to Ethem for the video!

Flying High, Keep On and Cross My Heart on their 2010 release Big Trouble.

A lot of the album was recorded in Nashville with some top session players on there as additional musicians:

Americana International Festival, Newark

Americana International Festival, Newark

The crew at the Americana International Festival at Newark, invited ma along to play the singer/songwriter stage in 2007.

As you can see from this photo the main stage is a big place but it still felt kind of intimate due to the great PA sound.

Plenty of people liked my set of five of my songs, I sold CD’s on the day, checked out the merchandise on sale and of course all the Americana.

The Doghouse Boys

The Doghouse Boys

The Doghouse Boys was a four piece band from Salisbury. We played all over the South/West, at all kinds of venues during 2005/2011.

We were all about bringing our brand of Honky-Tonk music to people and we called it “Country with the dirt left on

Now some people really got it and some didn’t but I’m glad that me and the boys got out there and played it, we enjoyed it and on the whole we went down well.

Walking The Hills

Walking The Hills

12 of my songs here recorded in 2004 at The Music Workshop, Devizes. Released on Folkwit Records and only available from them.

Me and Paul met up at Pete Lamb’s studio and recorded these tracks as a duo. I simply played each song through to Paul once and then we did a take, so it has a real “live” feel.

Alternative Country/Folk/Blues probably describes it best.
