Freeborn Station

Written by Keith Mouland

I’m taking the high road, the over my head road
Way out beyond, the satellite ring road
I touch down in town, just for the afternoon
And I don’t know why, I still don’t know why but
Oh well it doesn’t matter

I landed in freeborn station
I just dropped out of the sky
Fast images in my mind
And salvation on the fly

Reading a copy of the vast eternity news
And all the headlines said

People will be born, in a distant time
Beyond prejudice and fear, yeah, of the self destructive kind
They’re gonna live for the future for each other
Yea and for old Mother Earth
And I guess that’s right whoa yeah that’s right
For old Mother Earth

And I landed in freeborn station
I just dropped out of the sky
With fast images in my mind
And salvation on the fly
Whoa yeah, salvation on the fly
Hoping to survive.
